This policy applies solely to the WowPic mobile app, which can be found on Google Play. The app is owned and run by WeDo Technologies and Services, and any use of "we," "our," or "us" in this text refers to that developer entity. If you obtained WowPic via Google Play, this document explains our practices regarding the gathering, processing, saving, and disclosure of your personal information when you interact with the app.
WowPic includes several AI-driven editing, enhancement, and rendering tools that run via secure cloud systems. These are only used when you actively choose a feature that needs server-side power.
Your images, videos, or other media get sent to our secure servers only after you pick a cloud-based option and manually start the process. WowPic never uploads your media on its own, in the background, or without you taking action. The App always makes it clear before upload that cloud processing will happen.
Uploaded media stays on our servers just long enough to finish what you requested. Both the original files and the final results are automatically deleted for good within 72 hours after processing ends. WeDo Technologies and Services doesn't keep any backups of your media and won't use your content for ads, training AI models, profiling, or anything unrelated.
All uploads and downloads are secured with standard TLS encryption. Access to your content is limited only to automated processing systems and the necessary infrastructure needed to fulfill your request.
We do our best to keep the AI model as appropriate as we can. Still, you might run into content that doesn't feel right for you. If you see anything offensive or inappropriate, please reach out to us at wedotechserv2020@gmail.com. We'll act quickly, and your reports also help us improve the system over time.
To give you better products, faster service, and a nicer experience, we may ask for certain device permissions when offering extra features. With your permission, and only collecting what's really needed, we may access the following permissions and the info they give us.
The data linked to these permissions is considered sensitive. If you turn down a permission, it will only stop you from using the specific feature that needs it---everything else in the app will work just fine. You can always check your permission status in your device's system settings, and you're free to turn any or all of them on or off as you like.
Keep in mind that when you give a permission, you're allowing us to collect and use the related personal info only for that specific service. If you later disable it, that cancels your previous authorization, and we'll stop collecting or using info based on that permission from then on. But turning it off won't affect any data we already collected while it was on.
To power core features, handle analytics, and support in-app purchases, WowPic uses several third-party SDKs. These SDKs may collect and process some device and usage data as described. This only happens after you've agreed to this Privacy Policy.
We collect and look at data all the time to keep improving our Service and user experience. This info is handled in grouped form so we can better understand how people use things and make our products better. These summarized insights might be shared with our affiliates, agents, and business partners for things like research, development, and business planning. Don't worry---this data is anonymous and doesn't identify you or your users personally.
We may use the info you give us, as described in this policy, to provide our services or to get in touch with you. Specific uses include:
You can limit data collection by:
While using our app, you stay in full control of your info and can delete saved records whenever you want. We're committed to protecting your privacy and making data removal possible. You can clear your history and other stored info from the app's settings menu. Also, uninstalling the app will automatically wipe any data stored locally on your device. Just know that once data is deleted, it can't be brought back. If you have any questions about your deletion rights, just reach out to our support team for help.
Like most online services, we use cookies, web beacons, and similar tools. Cookies are small files stored on your hard drive or device memory that keep info about how you use our services---helping with things like logging you in, remembering your preferences and settings, analyzing traffic and usage, measuring ad performance, and enabling social features. Web beacons are tiny pieces of software placed on pages or in emails that help us see how you interact with that content.
Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can usually change your browser settings to delete or block cookies if you want. Just keep in mind that this might affect how our services work for you.
We use third-party analytics tools to measure traffic and usage trends. These tools collect data from your device or our services---like which pages you visit, which add-ons you use, and other info that helps us improve. This data is grouped with similar data from other users and doesn't identify anyone personally.
We work with third-party ad agencies to show ads on the internet or other media. To check how well those ads are doing and figure out payments, we include third-party modules in our apps. We might also use these modules to better understand how users engage with our services.
We keep your personal data for 48 months. We may hold onto and use your info as needed to meet legal obligations (like following applicable laws), settle disputes, and enforce our agreements and policies.
We also keep Usage Data for internal analysis. This type of data is usually kept for a shorter time, unless we need it to boost security, improve our Service, or if the law says we have to keep it longer.
We don't sell or rent your personal data to third parties. The SDKs we listed only share data with their own providers for the reasons stated, and we make sure through contracts that they process data according to privacy laws.
WeDo Technologies and Services doesn't sell, rent, or trade your personal info to anyone. We only share it when we need to provide the services you ask for, run and maintain WowPic, handle transactions, follow the law, or protect our legal rights and the security of our services.
To keep WowPic running smoothly, we work with trusted third-party providers. They help us with things like user login, payments, analytics, tracking installs, cloud hosting, fraud protection, and performance monitoring.
Depending on the feature you use, these providers may process limited categories of information, including:
Each third-party provider processes personal information solely for the purpose of delivering the services they perform on our behalf and in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws. We do not authorize our service providers to use your personal information for their own independent advertising or marketing purposes.
When you upload photos, videos, or other media for AI processing, your content is only used to generate the results you ask for.
We never sell, license, or share your uploads with third parties for ads, profiling, or training general AI models. Your files are processed only for what you requested and are automatically deleted as described in this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose your personal information only when we believe such disclosure is necessary to:
If WowPic or WeDo Technologies and Services goes through a merger, acquisition, restructuring, funding round, asset sale, or similar deal, your personal info may be transferred as part of that process.
In those cases, the new entity will have to protect your personal data under privacy rules that are basically the same as what's described here, and in line with data protection laws.
We take your privacy seriously. To prevent unauthorized access, leaks, or other risks, we've put in place reasonable physical, electronic, and organizational safeguards for data collected via our Platform. We're committed to doing our best to protect your info.
We regularly review and update our security practices to keep up with business changes, new tech, and legal requirements. These include technical and organizational security measures, access controls, and staff training.
We really care about protecting your data, but please know that no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. We do our best using industry standards, but we can't guarantee absolute safety.
If we find out about a security issue that affects your personal info, we'll notify you as required by law. By using the Platform, you agree to get these notifications electronically.
If you want to know more about your legal rights or would like to exercise any of them, just reach out to us using the contact info in the "How to Contact Us" section below. Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask us to:
We'll review all requests and reply within the time frame required by law. Keep in mind that in some cases, certain info might not be covered---for example, if we need to keep processing your data to protect our legitimate interests or meet legal obligations. Before we act on your request, we might ask you for reasonable info to confirm your identity.
Our services are not designed for users under 18 years of age (referred to as "minors"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone below this age. If you are a parent or legal guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please get in touch with us. Upon discovering that such information has been collected without verified parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete it from our records.
We follow the privacy rules set by California (CCPA), Virginia (VCDPA), the EU (GDPR), and Brazil (LGPD). If you live in these areas, the law gives you rights like accessing, fixing, deleting, or objecting to how we process your personal data. To use any of these rights, just get in touch with our support team.
We process your personal info in line with data protection laws, including the GDPR. Depending on why we're processing it, we rely on one or more of these legal bases:
If you think we're handling your personal data in a way that breaks data protection laws or your rights under them, you have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority. This applies, for example, to EU residents under GDPR, as well as other local data protection rules that may cover you.
If you want to file a complaint, you can get in touch with your country's data protection authority---you'll usually find their contact info on their official websites. Or you can reach out to us directly and we'll point you in the right direction.
Before you go the formal complaint route, we'd really appreciate it if you contact us first so we can try to sort things out. You can reach our Data Protection Officer (DPO) or drop us a line at wedotechserv2020@gmail.com.
Under data protection laws, the data controller for personal info collected through WowPic is WeDo Technologies and Services. That means we decide the purposes and methods for processing your data and are responsible for following privacy laws. If you have any privacy questions, just email us at wedotechserv2020@gmail.com.
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer to oversee our privacy practices. The DPO can be contacted as follows:
